Quote of the Decade - Obama on Debt

Many emails we receive are filled with misinformation and half truths. However, this one is true. President Obama was a Senator before he improved his pay grade. He said then in a speech, that raising the debt limit indicates leadership failure. He voiced disapproval of the additional 3.5 Trillion Dollars added to the debt in the previous 5 years, from 2001 to 2006, saying that this money was borrowed from government programs, foreign countries and taxpayers.

As it turned out, Senator Obama became President Obama and the debt went from about 10 Trillion Dollars to about 17 Trillion Dollars at the present in 2013. That's a 7 Trillion increase, which is twice the amount Obama made his speech about. Below, you can see the email going around about Obama and the National Debt, titled Quote of the Decade.

A Marine squad was marching north of Fallujah when they came upon an Iraqi terrorist who was badly injured and unconscious. On the opposite side of the road was an American Marine in a similar but less serious state. The Marine was conscious and alert and as first aid was given to both men, the squad leader asked the injured Marine what had happened.

The Marine reported, I was heavily armed and moving north along the highway here, and coming south was a heavily armed insurgent. We saw each other and both took cover in the ditches along the road. I yelled to him that Saddam Hussein was a miserable, lowlife scum bag who got what he deserved. and he yelled back that Barack Obama is a lying, good-for-nothing, left wing Commie who isn't even an American. So I said that Osama Bin Laden dressed and acts like a frigid, mean-spirited lesbian! He retaliated by yelling, Oh yeah? Well, so does Nancy Pelosi!.

And, there we were, in the middle of the road, shaking hands, when a truck hit us.

Here's an email that's going around lately. It seems to be a mix of fact and fiction. Research, then decide for yourself!

Obama didn't declared that the USA was no longer a Christian nation - he said that the USA was no longer JUST a Christian nation.

Obama didn't cancel the National Day of Prayer Ceremony - he recognized the National Day of Prayer with a paper proclamation instead of a public event at the White House.

There was a Muslin rally in D.C. bit it wasn't a replacement for the National Day of Prayer.

Here's a political email I recently received. I know from experience that many emails are not 100% correct so I looked into this one and found a few things. First, Joseph Olson is a real Professor at Hamline (not Hemline) University School of Law. But according to his own page at Hamline, Olson says he did NOT write this email!

Number of States won by:
Democrats: 19
Republicans: 29

Square miles of land won by:
Democrats: 580,000
Republicans: 2,427,000

Population of counties won by:
Democrats:127 million
Republicans:143 million

Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by:
Democrats: 13.2
Republicans: 2.1

Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory won by Republicans was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country.

Democrat territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in government-owned tenements and living off various forms of government welfare.

Professor Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegals and they vote, then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.

This email arrived a few weeks back. It tells about the brief speech Tiger Woods made at Obama's inauguration. The speech did actually occur, as reported on the website for The Golf Channel. The email states that the speech was published on Tiger Woods' website but it may not be there now. I seached for "You'll Never Walk Alone" and "Obama" and then "Inauguration" but found no results for any of those three phrases.

There is an analysis of this email on one of About.com's Urban Legends pages. Read their viewpoint as an alternative to this email's spin. They say that there was no pressure to honor Obama. They also quote Woods feelings on Obama winning the election. "He represents America. He's multiracial. I was hoping it would happen in my lifetime. Tiger Woods' 2-minute, 5-second tribute to the our nation's military was delivered January 18th at the Inaugural Celebration in Washington, DC. He had been subjected to intense pressure to attend and offer remarks. Especially so by liberals who have demeaned and criticized him for a decade for not joining their ranks. Yet, at the Lincoln Memorial, instead of paying homage to Barack Obama, Tiger paid tribute to our soldiers. not once did Tiger mention Obama, the inauguration or the new administration. Understanding that expressing his love for America and his appreciation for our military men and women would disappoint the national news media and the liberal left, he did what he thought was best for the people of our country. But Tiger is his own man, just as his father taught him to be his own man. Somewhere over that cold, gray Washington sky, Colonel Earl Woods was smiling down on his beloved son. And there will be one more crying hug waiting for Tiger when the time comes he passes through heaven's gates into God's arms.

What's that you say?

You did not previously know what Tiger said? You did not see a video clip of him speaking on any national television network? You did not see a photo of Tiger at the Lincoln Memorial offering his remarks honoring our military? You did not read a story in the NY Times? His appearance at the Inaugural Celebration had been widely hailed and promoted in advance by the Obama inaugural organizers ... yet January 18 when he came and spoke ... afterwards, a black out.

The Professor is a Genius....REALLY WORTH READING very short

An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had once failed an entire class.

That class had insisted that Obama's socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer.


The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama's plan".

All grades would be averaged and everyone would receive the same grade so no one would fail and no one would receive an A.

After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy.

As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little.

The second test average was a D! No one was happy.

When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F.

The scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else.

All failed, to their great surprise, and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed.

Could not be any simpler than that.

According to the description, "Canadian comedian Greg Morton weighs in on the current financial crisis and how President Obama plans to get us out of it." There is a new computer bug going around that claims to be Barack Obama's acceptance speech. It was started by a bunch of criminals in the Ukraine All it will do is send them all your pertinent information. If you receive an E-mail claiming to be Barack Obama's acceptance speech DO NOT OPEN IT. DELETE IT IMMEDIATELY! Spread this around to everyone you know. It is true and has been valid ated on the Snopes Web Site. There are other subject lines that also contain viruses. They are noted on the Snopes site.

Hackers are sending spoof YouTube messages to users to say they have been caught on a spy cam and the video has been posted on the internet. The scam aims to trick users into clicking the link to the video.

The messages appear to have been sent from YouTube and has led to a malware strain detected as Autodelete.G. If the user clicks the attached link a vicious bug gets automatically downloaded.

Here's an email that claims to provide information about Barack Obama. It states that it's contents have been checked out on Snopes.com and "It is factual." Here's another interesting story going around about Obama. It has been reported that Raila Odinga of Kenya is his cousin. Allegedly, the two are close and speak by phone often. The Kenyan government accused supporters of Odinga of behind the protests in Kenya over the recent election that have left over a thosand people dead. It is further alleged that Odinga recently signed a memorandum of understanding between himself and Muslim leaders. It states, among other things, that Odinga will "Within 6 months re-write the Constitution of Kenya to recognize Shariah as the only true law sanctioned by the Holy Quran for Muslim declared regions."

What does all this mean? It means that voters will need to educate themselves about all aspects of whichever candidates become their party's choices to run for President in the upcoming 2008 election. Research what each candidate stands for and who they associate with. Make an educated choice when you enter the polling place to vote in November. Please don't decide who to vote for on the basis of one email!

Who is Barack Obama?

Probable U. S. presidential candidate, Barack Hussein Obama was born

in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a black MUSLIM

from Nyangoma-Kogel, Kenya and Ann Dunham, a white Athiest from

Wichita, Kansas.

Obama's parents met at the University of Hawaii. When Obama was two

years old, his parents divorced. His father returned to Kenya. His

mother then married Lolo Soetoro, a RADICAL Muslim from Indonesia.

When Obama was 6 years old, the family relocated to Indonesia. Obama

attended a MUSLIM school in Jakarta. He also spent two years in a

Catholic school.

Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Muslim. He is

quick to point out that, "He was once a Muslim, but that he also

attended Catholic school."

Obama's political handlers are attempting to make it appear that

that he is not a radical.

Obama's introduction to Islam came via his father, and that this

influence was temporary at best. In reality, the senior Obama returned

to Kenya soon after the divorce, and never again had any direct

influence over his son's education.

Lolo Soetoro, the second husband of Obama's mother, Ann Dunham,

introduced his stepson to Islam. Obama was enrolled in a Wahabi school

in Jakarta.

Wahabism is the RADICAL ISLAMIC teaching that is followed by the Muslim

terrorists who are now waging Jihad against the western world. Since

it is politically expedient to be a CHRISTIAN when seeking major

public office in the United States, Barack Hussein Obama has joined

the United Church of Christ in an attempt to downplay his Muslim

background. ALSO, keep in mind that when he was sworn into office he

DID NOT use the Holy Bible, but instead the Koran.

Barack Hussein Obama will NOT recite the Pledge of Allegience nor

will he show any reverence for our flag. While others place their hands

over their hearts, Obama turns his back to the flag and slouches.

Let us all remain alert concerning Obama's expected presidential
